The first two digits indicate the week of manufacture, and the last digit indicates the year. For example, a date code of 078 indicates the coil was manufactured during the 7th week of 1968. As a general guideline, subtract 1 to 4 weeks from your vehicle's build date to estimate the closest matching date code for your restoration.
