APPLICATION NOTE
GM made at least three different power tail gate switches for the applications listed below. One with a removable black knob, one with a removable chrome knob, and one with a non-removable chrome knob.

The switch we have reproduced has a removable “black knob”, and will fit and function perfectly in all of the above applications.

The “black knob” is easily removed by pushing out the retaining pin. This allows customers with original removable “chrome knob” style switches to reuse their original “chrome knob”, and retain an original appearance.
